GE Aviation and the Navy signeda multiple-yearf contract in 2007 for up to 384 F414 engines and modulesd to support the Navy’sd procurement of twin-engine F/A-18 Super Hornets and EA-19 Growlers. The agreement included four option yearsw that could extend engine deliveriesinto 2012. The totakl value of the contract couldrexceed $1.5 billion, according to a statemenrt issued by GE Monday.
